Délice & Sarrasin

Vegan Restaurants NYC

📍20 Christopher Street New York, NY, USA

Do you ever imagine yourself as a fabulous French woman sitting at a café, eating vegan crepes? Just moi? If you need to live out the fantasy, Délice & Sarrasin is vegan French restaurant where you’ll find Parisian perfection with a fully plant-based menu.

“Delice & Sarrasin (translation “delicious” and Sarrasin, the name of the buckwheat flour used in preparing the savory crepe, called “galette” in french) is a family owned and operated vegan restaurant that specializes in French homemade cooking and specifically in authentic french dishes along with crepes and galettes. The main goal is to bring the authenticity and unique flavor as you can easily find it back in France, thanks to Yvette’s homemade cooking, with the finest ingredient, without animal cruelty.”

The tiny space is the ideal spot to brunch with a good friend or for a dinner rendezvous. Definitely add it to the your “must-try” list of vegan restaurants in NYC.

What’s Good:

  • Tournedos Rossini- "Impossible Food" filet steak, cooked in Frontignant sauce, atop a light butter crouton, topped with foie gras and fresh black truffle

  • Sweet Crêpes, full gluten (GF available)

Drink Up:

  • French Vegan wine (no animal products used in the fining process)

Make a Booking:

  • Booking not required but the space has only 9 two-tops, so highly recommend booking ahead

Cost:

  • Brunch for two, with wine- about $120 USD
